CREIA Chapter PR Grant Program

The CREIA Board of Directors voted to budget CREIA Chapter PR grant funds. Chapters may apply for grant funds to assist in offsetting costs for exhibiting and other public relations activities.

Applications and accompanying documentation must be uploaded and submitted through the online portal. Please be sure to read the guidelines below prior to submitting an application.

CREIA Chapter PR Grant Program Guidelines

CREIA is seeking applications for promotional funds for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

Deadline to submit a CREIA Chapter PR Grant Applications is January 10, 2018 for PR activities that have or will happen between June 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018.

GRANT CRITERIA

1. The grant funds must be used to support: a project, program, or event, with the primary purpose of honoring CREIA’s vision and mission. In addition, the project, program, or event should:

Drive the visibility, awareness, and engagement of the local Chapter and CREIA with the purpose of:

a. Gaining Chapter membership (potential members); (and/or)
b. Promoting the CREIA brand/CREIA members.

2. The PR Committee has a total of $5,000 available to award.

a. There is no minimum or maximum award requirement.

3. Each Chapter may submit only one application.

a. Projects, programs, or events may be partially funded based on the PR Committee’s allocation of available funds. Funds will not be granted beyond the requested amount.

4. Applications for PR funds must be received by January 10, 2018

a. Grant applications submitted after the deadline cannot be considered; extensions cannot be granted.

5. Chapters will be notified of the status of their application by January 17, 2018.

6. Chapters that are awarded funds must apply for reimbursement by June 30, 2018. IF chapters need the funds to do the actual activity, this needs to be expressed in the application.

a. Funds must be used by the reimbursement submittal date; extensions cannot be granted.
b. Funds must be used for the intended purpose listed on the approved PR grant application.

i. Any derivation from the approved application plan must be approved by the PR Committee.

c. All applicable receipts and purchase orders must accompany the reimbursement request.
d. An impact statement must be submitted in conjunction with the reimbursement request:

i. A detailed impact and results statement must be submitted for any approved funds highlighting the project/event/program’s outcome.

e. Reimbursement requests submitted after the deadline cannot be approved; extensions cannot be granted.

7. Grant applications must be submitted online through the CREIA Website.

a. Grant applications, reimbursement requests, or inquiries should not be submitted by e-mail.

8. Any Chapter applying for promotion funding must meet the following criteria (be in good standing):

a. The Chapter’s standing Officers must be up-to-date on the Chapter’s page on the CREIA Website.
b. The Chapter’s monthly meeting information must be up-to-date on the Chapter’s page on the CREIA Website.
c. If the Chapter has its own Website, it must be listed on the Chapter’s page on the CREIA Website.
d. The Chapter must explain a need for the grant and submit the chapter’s P&Ls for the last two years.
e. If (a), (b), (c) and/or (d) are not met please submit a written report explaining why.

GUIDELINES FOR FUNDING:

• All applicable receipts and purchase orders must accompany the reimbursement request. If the chapter indicated funds are needed for the activity, invoices/and purchase orders must accompany the application.
• An impact statement must be submitted in conjunction with the reimbursement request:
• A detailed impact and results statement must be submitted for any approved funds highlighting the project/event/program’s outcome.
• Reimbursement requests submitted after the deadline will not be approved; extensions will not be granted.
